How To make wood signs. Chapter 2 (The Layout)

Hello All

I hope everyone had a good time at the hardware store, I always do. The first sign I am going to teach you to make will be the very simple style #41.

 This style is usually used to make the first names that can hang below the main family name sign. Very helpful when you need to add another family member.

Now lets get started

Before we can start carving we need to place two horizontal lines on our board. The lines will represent the top and bottom of our letters and we will do are best to stay in between the lines.
